Expanding Access. Strengthening Surgical Care.
United Hospital Center is investing in a new Outpatient Surgery Center to meet the growing demand for surgical services across central West Virginia.
This new, state-of-the-art facility will allow many low-risk, same-day procedures to be performed in a specialized outpatient setting. By shifting these cases out of the main hospital, UHC can free up operating rooms for more complex surgeries, improving efficiency and reducing wait times for patients—all while keeping care close to home.
The Outpatient Surgery Center is designed to enhance access, support continued recruitment of top surgical talent, and ensure patients receive high-quality care close to home.
