Mission and Vision
United Health Foundation is incorporated for charitable, scientific, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, or any corresponding provision of any subsequent federal tax laws, specifically for the benefit of and to assist in carrying out the purposes of United Hospital Center.
The mission of the United Health Foundation, Inc. is to solicit and administer gifts, contributions, and grants, which support the healthcare treatment and education mission of United Hospital Center, Inc., its subsidiaries, and other community partners.
United Hospital Center, Inc. also is a corporation incorporated for religious, charitable, scientific, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. United Hospital Center, Inc. exists to provide emergency, inpatient, and outpatient health services to citizens of the hospital’s service area, without discrimination as to sex, race, color, religion, or financial status. United Hospital Center, Inc. also exists to provide needed health education, prevention, and limited research.
